Data Driven Outcomes
Measuring what actually matters.
We don’t ask Local Authorities to take our word for it. Every Newberyl Practice support programme is independently measured using validated burnout frameworks and reported back to your leadership at 6 and 12 months.
The impact Benchmarks
79%
of social workers cite burnout as their number one organisational challenge (Source: Social Work England, 2024).
£30k
estimated cost to a Local Authority every time an NQSW leaves before Month 12
48%
of ethnic minority social workers intend to leave the profession, versus 39% overall (Source: Social Work England)

Evidence-Based Accountability
How We Measure Impact
We combine objective, industry-standard benchmarking with transparent cohort data to provide public sector leadership teams with clear visibility over frontline workforce health.
The MBI Framework
We don't just guess impact, we independently evaluate it. Newberyl Practice Support administers the industry-standard Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) to your early career cohorts at the start, midpoint, and 12-month mark, providing transparent tracking data directly to senior leadership.
Executive Reporting
Every cohort receives a formal impact analysis at Month 6. This provides your Head of Service with the validated data necessary to evaluate the programme’s ROI and determine the strategy for long-term departmental rollout. No averages, no estimates, your NQSWs, your data, your outcomes.
Social Value Commitment
Newberyl Practice Support was founded by a qualified Social Worker with personal experience of the care system. Social value is not a procurement checkbox for us, it is the reason this business exists. Alongside our Local Authority programmes, we deliver workshops and motivational talks for care leavers and care-experienced young people, helping our partners fulfil their statutory social value obligations in a way that is authentic, not performative. Our B-Corp certification is currently in progress.
